One of the girl groups produced by Phil Spector in the early 1960's. I opened for them in 1965 at a concert at Brown University. I met one of the Crystals, La La Brooks, at the Ponderosa Stomp festival in 2010 where we were both performing and she told me that at the University gig in '65 she was only fourteen and on-the-road with a chaperone.
